Updates

We have been a little laxed on updating our page, sorry about that!  Well this next week I go in for my monthly check-up, and am hoping that we get a date for the "BIG" ultrasound!!  We put up the Christmas tree, and Dylan is not so sure about all the ornaments on it.  He thinks that he gets to play with them all, and take them on and off the tree.

We have a busy month ahead of us!  Amanda is coming in town on the 16th!  And possibly my dad may come out to visit within the next month...we are still nailing down dates!!  We will keep you posted on the ultrasound dates, and I will try to upload some new pics of Dylan!!

Have a Happy Holiday Season!!

Pumpkin Patch

Here are a few pics of Dylan at the pumpkin patch and carving pumpkins with his girlfriends across the street!  He calls the pumpkins "pumps"  its too cute!

Halloween

This year, Lee let me sortof choose what Dylan should be for Halloween.  So I picked a monkey for him, it had a cute little hat, fuzzy jumpsuit, and little claw feet.  He liked it on the package, but hated it on him.  We convinced him to put it on a few times but it was a HUGE challenge.  Here are a few pics of him in his monkey suit!

Ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound on Thursday, and everything so far looks good.  The doctor is going to look at the results and send them to my doctor for my next appointment Thursday.  The heartbeat was 162 which is pretty high, I don't remember Dylan's ever being that high so we'll see.  Also, it showed that the baby is measuring 3 days early, but that could change at any time.  I will try to scan the ultrasound pics and upload them as soon as I can!

Sick

So...I have been so sick with this new kidney bean that is developing inside of me.  Dylan was a peanut, so this one I have decided a kidney bean.  Lee said this one can be a peanut too, but thats not what I want.  Anyways...I can not seem to find any foods that I like right now.  I am queezy all the time, and nauseous this is horrible.  I told Lee if I was this way with Dylan we probably would not have had another.  I can not believe how people handle it.  I am crabby, sleepy, and on edge.

I did my blood work last week, and I will get the results on Wednesday when I go see the nurse practitioner.  They had me do a glucose sugar test already to start monitoring if I will have gestational diabetes again (I hope not).  The doctor predicts that my "due date" is May 12, but she is saying they will probably deliver me at the end of April.  We will keep you posted.

Please...Please...Please pray for my momma, she is going through a tough time battling with chemotherapy.  She will make it through, its just a rough and bumpy battle.

Faces

Look at these faces!!

McAnaul Family

Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the McAnaul family, as they just suffered a tragic loss of their 3 year old son. He was taken from them yesterday, and is now in the hands of the Lord and with his grandpa.

Thank you.

New car

So...Lee was told he was inheriting a new car...drum roll please...the 1985 car of the year!

A 1985 Volkswagen GTI GOLF...woo hoo!! Haha its his commuter car. He is parking the truck to keep the miles down on it...so he gets to drive this luxury car every day to work!!

Date Night

Lee & I were invited by a co-worker to go watch her dad play at a bar. They are in a band called Self Inflicted, and were really good. We went to a bar named Oscar's in Vandalia. This was the first time lee & I have been out past 9 since Dylan was born.

Needless to say we had a great time...hopefully they will want to go out with us again! I know were were all feeling pretty rough the next day! Thanks for the invite guys!

Randoms

Well this month has been uneventful for us in the Steven's household. Dylan is getting his upper molars in, so he has not been sleeping through the night at all. It is very frustrating for Lee & I but we will get through it.
My grandma Bonnie made Dylan his own quilt and she is having a surprise birthday party, with a slide show of all the quilts she made. Here he is with his football quilt.

Dylan is becoming quite the eater, he likes all vegetables, most fruits, and is pretty picky on foods. He seems to eat really good for the sitter, but is stubborn with us. He only likes the Kraft Shells & Cheese, not the powdered stuff. He likes fish(sometimes), hot dogs, chicken, noodles, rice, potatoes, smoked sausage. He doesn't really like sweet things, which I can't complain about.

Holiday Weekend!

Lee & I are off today due to the holiday tomorrow. So we will spend all day with Dylan today, since Lee has to work 2nd shift tomorrow night. We are going to have a cook out with the neighbors and Lee is going to let off fireworks here at the house.

Also in other news...I am approximately 2 months late (with certain things) and so far every test has come back negative. So we are going to take another one tomorrow morning, if that comes back negative I will set up an appointment with the doctor, because something isn't right. We will keep you posted.

Have a great 4th!! Be safe!!

Dylan's Cousin

Lee's sister Kristy had a baby girl Friday June 19th, which was 4 weeks before her due date. Kaitlin Ann Kelly was born at 12:40pm, and weighed 4 lbs 7 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. She is beautiful. Now Dylan has someone to pick on...and keep his eye on!!

We have to go to my grandma's suprise birthday party, Disneyland, dirt bike riding, a national forest (for Lee), and just visiting family. We want to take Dylan to the beach so he can touch "real" sand...hopefully we can see and do all that we can!

Dylans 1st Birthday!

Well we had Dylan's First Birthday at Englewood Metropark down the street from our house, and it worked out great! We set everything up and got to throw things away in the end. We had a good turn out of about 35 people. He got everything! A cozy coupe, a Little Tykes tunnel, a wagon, clothes, blocks, Leggos, trucks, gift cards and money, and of course lots of other things.

Dylan got a special cake which you can see below:

Here was everyone elses cake:

Here are some more pictures of his birthday...

We want to thank everyone for coming to his party, calling, or sending Dylan something for his Birthday! It means a lot to us!

***FYI to all our family members in California...we will be out there August 7-15. Hopefully we will get a chance to see everyone!!

An update on Dylan

Well Dylan is almost 11 months, and we are starting to plan his birthday. Since it falls on Memorial Weekend, we are going to try to have it at the Metro Park down the street, so we don't have a huge crowd at the house.

He currently has 4 teeth with a few more trying to pop through. He is scooting around like a crab almost. He is walking around with his toys and pushing them everywhere, but doesn't want to walk by himself yet. He likes to hold onto things. He has been sleeping through the night which is a relief, since he hasn't done it in almost 3 months.

He is a good eater, he is eating stage 3 foods, and wants to try to eat whatever we have in front of us. The sitter has been giving him some small finger foods at lunch and snack items throughout the day which he likes. We are going to try to wean him off the bottle soon, the pediatrician wants us to have him off by his 1st birthday...don't know about that.

Other than that, Lee got a quad that he already broke, so we are getting ready to have that fixed. I told him he could ride Dylan's since it is parked in the garage, but its too small for him. He uses it to chase the neighbors dog around the farmland behind the house.

Right now we are talking about whether to have another baby or not...so help us out with that! Here is a picture of Dylan...I will try to post more later, as I am at work now!

Welcome...

Welcome to this new blog. We have kept up a babysite for Dylan and wanted to make a site where we could share information about the whole family, so this is just the beginning.
